India, Singapore naval exercises begin in Andaman Sea
New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) Aiming to attain interoperability and train personnel in manoeuvres during war, Indian and Singaporean navies today launched their annual bilateral exercise SIMBEX-2009 in the Andaman Sea.
Being the 16th in the series of exercises that began in 1994, this year's edition of SIMBEX would extend from the Andaman Sea to the South China Sea and would go on till April 2, Naval officers said here.
