Angelo Lanni hasn't yet placed any bids on road construction projects to be funded out of the federal stimulus bill signed last month by President Barack Obama.
But even without the windfall of federal stimulus funding, he still expects his business to continue growing this year at a healthy clip.
Lanni, president of Shelby Township-based Florence Cement Co., has his company already at the halfway mark to beat 2008's $35 million or so in construction contracts.
Last year's revenue was about $500,000 ahead of the preceding year, Lanni said, and this year he hopes to hit $36 million to $38 million in revenue.
