A FLAGSHIP anti-obesity policy could lead to the end of all vending machines in Welsh hospitals, food and drink manufacturers have claimed.
A coalition of organisations and businesses has criticised the Welsh Assembly Government for banning all junk food from hospital vending machines.
They claim the rules are so prescriptive that they also prevent apparently healthy options, including rice cakes and dried fruit and nuts, from being sold in the machines.
