Phil Condit and Harry Stonecipher, as expected, will hold the top two jobs at the new Boeing [BA], Condit said last week.
Condit, the head of the old Boeing, will serve as the new company's chairman and chief executive officer, and Stonecipher will serve as president and chief operating officer. Stonecipher has been the head of the old McDonnell Douglas [MD].
In addition, Condit announced that a new 12-member board of directors for the new Boeing, which began operations today, has been named.
They are, in alphabetical order:
* John Biggs, chairman and chief executive, Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund.
