SAN BRUNO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 4, 1997--VideoLogic, the international PC multimedia and 3D graphics company, today began shipping Apocalypse 3Dx, its second generation 3D graphics accelerator card for the PC market.

Based on the NEC PCX2 PowerVR chip, the Apocalypse 3Dx is available worldwide through VideoLogic's existing network of computer retailers, resellers and distributors.

As part of the product launch, VideoLogic has reduced the retail price of the Apocalypse 3Dx by 20 percent from the original price announced in May. The new suggested retail price is $159, down from the announced price of $199.
