Ijaz hospitalised following severe asthma attack
Karachi, Mar 27 (PTI) Pakistan's former Test player and current fielding coach of the national team, Ijaz Ahmed, has been shifted to a hospital in Lahore after he suffered a severe asthma attack at the Gulberg Liberty police station.
Ijaz was arrested yesterday in a fraud case and put behind bars at the station in Lahore but suffered an asthma attack late last night.
"He has been shifted to the services hospital on court orders," lawyer Kashif Javed said.
He said the order to admit Ijaz to a hospital was carried out since no medical aid was provided at the police station.
