Intermolecular, Inc. announced that Craig Hunter has joined the company as vice president and general manager, solar business. Hunter joins Intermolecular from Sequoia Capital, a leading venture capital firm, where he was an entrepreneur in residence focused on the photovoltaic (PV) industry.
Hunter previously founded and then served as general manager of the Thin Film Solar business at Applied Materials, Inc. He was instrumental in formulating the strategy for Applied MaterialsE SunFab Thin Film Line, leading that initiative from its conception through produce development to manufacturing first-article solar panels.
