Polio left Marhoon al Ghaifri with just one strong limb. But he never allowed his disability to come in the way of a full life. The Oman Air employee is married, has two children and has a passion for driving cars, sometimes to places as far as Salalah or Jordan.
On March 19, Marhoon did the unthinkable Au he went scuba diving at the Oman Dive Center, in their pool and out in the sea. He was one of 32 physically challenged people who enjoyed their time in water, thanks to Dive Challenge Tour Oman, organised for the first time in the Gulf region by the International Association for Handicapped Divers (IAHD).
