26 militants killed in Pak army operation in tribal region
Islamabad, Mar 29 (PTI) -- Backed by helicopter gunships and artillery, Pakistani security forces have killed at least 26 militants in the country's restive northwestern tribal region bordering Afghanistan.
The troops launched an operation against militants in Sapri area of the Mohmand tribal region after a convoy of security forces came under attack.
