Make the most of the CD player living inside your Mac
The number one productivity application on my Mac isn't Microsoft Excel, Corel WordPerfect, or Claris FileMaker Pro; it's the AppleCD Audio Player--the free program that lets you play audio CDs on your Mac while you work. When I'm struggling to meet deadlines, writing into the early hours of the morning, it's the insistent blare of my favorite CDs that keeps me from collapsing into a slumbering heap on the keyboard.
At first glance, Apple's Audio Player may not seem terribly sophisticated, but this tiny CD player has a few features that put a Sony Discman to shame.
