Vanity Fair, an innerwear unit of VF Corp., has agreed to stop using the "Bot- tom Booster" name after being sued for infringement by Bodyslimmers, which uses the "Butt Booster" trademark.
The Warnaco Group acquired the Butt Booster trademark with its acquisition of the Bodyslimmers shapewear business in July 1996.
Under a consent agreement in Manhattan Supreme Court, Warnaco said it gave Vanity Fair three months to dispose of 1,250 dozens of items in store inventory ...
