Aicello announced an agreement to acquire Tohcello Company's polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film product line and assets. The move is part of Aicello's strategy to expand PVA film business as a core product offering, by increasing production capacity and leveraging the assets and technology included in the acquisition. The sale will be completed on April 1, 2009.
PVA film has a combination of several unique properties, making it ideal in applications such as water soluble packaging, mold release and transfer printing.
