The planned Waneta Dam Expansion project is still in the development stage.
Peter Kiewit Son Co., SNC - Lavin Inc., and Bilfinger Berger, a joint ventureof Bilfinger Berger (Canada) Inc. and North American Construction Ltd., have been developing proposals for the upgrades at the Waneta Dam on the Pend d Oreille River.
The Columbia Power Corporation is expecting to receive proposals this spring We are going to see how the proposals come out after the review, said Audrey Repin, CPC director of communications and community relations. Hopefully by late summer we will have an idea where it is going.
