A STRING of investors are poised to snap up the site earmarked for the multi-million-pound Caltongate development in Edinburgh, it emerged yesterday.
The Scotsman can reveal agents have been in touch with the city council and administrators handling the assets of the wound-up property giant behind the scheme.
It is understood investors hope to snap up the city centre site at a knock-down price and recoup their money when the property market improves.
