NEW YORK -- Donna Karan unveiled DKNY Jeans this week with a logo spelling out her bold ambitions for the brand: The Official Uniform of New York.
"There's no question everyone wants a piece of New York," the designer told DNR during an exclusive preview of the jeanswear collection, launching worldwide for spring '98. "With DKNY Jeans, we'll be able to give it to the masses."
