The Malabon City police station is being left behind in Northern Metro Manila in terms of patrol cars and police equipment.The city, which has 21 barangays (villages) and a population of over 400,000, has only two patrol cars.Senior Superintendent Roberto C. Villanueva, Malabon police chief, said that the two cars were among the seven four-wheel vehicles and 10 motorcycles that the station had.Villanueva said that the other vehicles are two jeeps, two multi-cabs and one closed van."We are in need of more patrol cars.
