DNV is expanding its worldwide expertise in climate change services with the opening of offices in San Francisco and Portland, Ore.

Globally, DNV was the first entity accredited as a verifier under the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Though not a signatory to Kyoto, the United States is seeing dramatic rise in demand for business-focused environmental strategies especially those that offer practical steps toward reducing global warming.
