Ratos (Stockholm:RATO-B) (Euronext:12069) announced today (1 April) that the EU Competition Authority has given its approval for Arcus Gruppen, a wine and spirits supplier in Norway and a Ratos subsidiary, to acquire three brands from Pernod Ricard.
In December 2008 Arcus Gruppen had concluded an agreement with Pernod Ricard to acquire the brands Gronstedts Cognac, Star Gin, Red Port and Dry Anis, which was subject to approval from the relevant competition authorities.
