Alvarion receives order for first RUS funded BreezeMAX[R] deployment project

(NASDAQ:ALVR), the world's leading provider of WiMAX[TM] and wireless broadband solutions, today announced it was chosen by Main Street Broadband, a strategic partner of Xiocom Wireless, Inc., for deployment of WiMAX networks in its initial RUS (Rural Utilities Service) funded rural market.
