HOUSTON, April 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Apache Corporation ( NASDAQ: APA) announced several changes in the company's regional and corporate leadership teams. 

 
  --  Tom Chambers will assume new responsibilities as vice president - 
  Planning and Investor Relations. He has been vice president - 
  Corporate Planning since September 2001. 
  --  Bob Dye will take on new responsibilities as vice president - 
  Corporate Services, leading the Public Affairs, Government Affairs, 
  Corporate Outreach, Aviation, Corporate Land and Information 
  Technology groups. He has been vice president - Investor Relations
