Keynote Address
The keynote address was presented by American Nurses Association President, Becky Patton, of Lakewood, Ohio. Patton serves on the editorial board of Online Nursing Journal, she has written chapters for books on medical-surgical nursing and for nursing journals. She has also written for popular publications including an article on "What You Must Know Before You go to the Hospital" for Redbook Magazine. She discussed ANA's Big Audacious Goal: "Nursing is the unifying force to advance quality health care for all."
