Apr 02, 2009 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Government's new Job Services system will cause large job losses from employment agencies. The tenders were announced on 2 April 2009. Some agencies will lose most of their centres, with over 1,000 jobs likely to be cut across the industry. Two UK providers gained contracts for many locations.
