AltaCanada Energy Corp. ("AltaCanada") is pleased to announce the results of its independent reserves analysis prepared by GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd., as of December 31, 2008. Using GLJs forecast prices as at January 1, 2009, the evaluation was prepared in accordance with procedures and standards contained in the Canadian Oil and Gas Evaluation (COGE) Handbook for both reserves in Montana and Canada and in accordance with the Canadian Securities Administrators National Instrument 51-101.
On a proven & probable basis, reserves at year end 2008, as compared to year end 2007, grew by 5.4% after replacing production. The value of these ...
