White wine can lead to teeth staining: Study
London, Apr 2 (PTI) The next time you sip white wine to get a sparkling smile, give a second thought, for a study says that drinking the alcoholic beverage could well lead to staining of the teeth.
An international team, led by the New York University College of Dentistry, has found that the acids in white wine create rough spots and grooves in teeth that let chemicals in drinks such as tea and coffee penetrate deeper into the tooth, triggering staining, 'The Daily Telegraph' reported.
