CALGARY, Alberta--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 27, 1997--(NASDAQ:QSNDF) QSurround, QSound Labs' virtual surround sound algorithm, has been licensed to LuxSonor, Inc., bringing the number of new licensees for QSound Labs' 3D audio technologies to 19 since the beginning of 1997.
QSurround will be incorporated in LuxSonor's LS220, a powerful and highly integrated DVD decoder solution for the PC market. QSurround will be an integral part of the LS220's AC-3/MPEG Audio Decoder with programmable DSP and is expected to be available to OEMs October 1, 1997.
