The Americans are invading South Africa. No, they're not coming here in the shape of Hollywood propaganda, nor in super-sized form. A "nutrient-packed", "active lifestyle" brand is being endorsed by some of the biggest names in glam city - and it's coming to |a store near you.
Glaceau's vitaminwater, the American success story, began in 1996 when health-conscious New Yorker J. Darius Bikoff popped a vitamin C wafer into his mouth and downed it with a swig of mineral water.
Ever entrepreneurial, he came to invent "vitaminwater", which purports to complement a less-than-perfect lifestyle.
