China's iron ore stockpiles rise to 68.09 mln tons by April 3
Shanghai. April 3. INTERFAX-CHINA - Iron ore stockpiles at China's 22 major ports stood at 68.09 million tons on Friday, April 3, up 0.96 percent from March 27, while Indian iron ore stockpiles rose by 1.48 percent to 17.12 million tons, according to figures released by Shanghai-based Mysteel.
Continuing production cutbacks by Chinese steel mills pulled imported iron ore prices down over the week, leaving the current price close to 2008's lowest level.
The average delivery price for Indian ore grading 63.5 percent stayed between RMB 550 ($80.50) and RMB 570 ($83.43) per ton on April ...
