Co-educational, middle school physical education. Just the thought of having 25 to 30 children ages 10-12 running around a gymnasium is enough to make even the strongest of physical education teachers feel faint! What with hormones running rampant, egos easily bruised, and skill levels ranging from scholastic athlete to children who can barely throw and catch, each day is filled with new challenges for the physical education teacher. How are physical educators found who are willing to work in these schools?
