03 APRIL 2009 SUVA (Pacnews) ------ The Director General of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community (SPC) Dr Jimmie Rodgers says the Pacific wants to be recognised in the world as a region that can reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS.
Dr Rodgers made the comments at the conclusion of a training workshop in Suva for the Pacifics champions on HIV/AIDS and youth.
Last years Pacific Parliamentary Assembly on Population and Development ( PPAPD) and Forum Presiding Officers and Clerks (FPOC) in Solomons endorsed Bougainville deputy speaker Francesca Semoso and Cook Islands Leader of the House John David Tangi as champions for HIV/AIDS for the region and ...
