Sep. 4--Journal Sentinel Inc. has purchased MetroPARENT, a free-distribution monthly publication, from Thomson Newspapers for an undisclosed price.
MetroPARENT, a tabloid averaging 50 pages, has a circulation of about 45,000. It is distributed to 483 sites in the four-county Milwaukee area, northern Racine County and in Madison.
"It's an excellent product," Journal Sentinel President Keith Spore said of MetroPARENT. "We're excited."
The magazine runs stories of interest to parents of babies and school-age children. Topics include child-rearing issues, local activities for children, education and children's health. The magazine also ...
