Online learning continues to grow rapidly, as evidenced by the results of a recent survey by the Sloan Consortium, which found that more than one million K-12 students participated in online courses during the 2007-2008 school year. Yet, many potential students and parents remain confused about who can benefit from this educational option.
Online learning leader Advanced Academics, Inc. has launched an initiative to demystify online learning for prospective students and their parents. As part of the effort, the company has produced a series of documentary-style videos profiling the wide range of students who are using online learning.
