Vision Group: On Monday, April 20, WGN-TV sportscaster Rich King will speak about his book, "My Maggie," a story of courage, love, and the resiliency of the human spirit.
King will discuss his relationship with his childhood sweetheart and wife, Maggie, who met the challenges of UsherAEs Syndrome (vision and hearing loss) and battled cancer while maintaining her humor and passion for life.
All are welcome to attend this free one-hour presentation at 10 a.m. Monday, April 20, at the Prairie Lodge, Drendel Ballroom Rooms A and B, at Sun City, Huntley. The event is sponsored by the Visually Impaired Support and Assistance Group.
