MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 2, 1997--The Seagram Company Ltd. today announced that Ellen R. Marram has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Tropicana Beverage Group, formerly The Seagram Beverage Group. Ms. Marram's appointment and the Group's name change are effective immediately. Ms. Marram previously held the title of president of The Seagram Beverage Group.
