ANN ARBOR, Mich., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE: BGP) joins the rest of the world in mourning the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. She was a great humanitarian who will be missed dearly by the American people and the world. Since Diana's untimely death tens of thousands of Americans have sought information about her life and her good works.

To honor Diana's memory, Borders Books & Music and Waldenbooks will donate a portion of the proceeds of books related to her life to The Princess of Wales Memorial Fund throughout the remainder of the year.
