ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 11, 1997--Spelman College and Eastman Kodak Company have embarked upon an initiative to support the development of future African American women leaders in science. Kodak has awarded Spelman a $500,000 grant to help support Spelman's Center for the Scientific Applications for Mathematics (CSAM): A Multi-Disciplinary Approach to Science, Engineering and Mathematics Education and Research.
