Several weeks ago, the father of convicted killer, Adam Peterson, received a call from law enforcements officials in Dodge County. There had been new discoveries concerning the Jan. 10 suicide of his son, he was told, and officials wanted him to hear details from them first.
The courtesy call, however, did little to prepare him for the information that was revealed in the criminal complaint used to charge his son's former cellmate, Joshua Walters, with assisted suicide Wednesday in Dodge County Circuit Court.
