Embattled home builder Mick Pattinson, who says he was forced to put his Carlsbad-based Barratt American into bankruptcy last summer because of unfair treatment by his bank, checks in with the Insider to update us on his recent activities. The Homebuilder's Coalition for Responsible Bank Behavior, his budding coalition, has now signed 196 builder members, half of which are based in California, he says.
