PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 1997-- Hewlett-Packard Company today announced it will extend support of the emerging Fibre Channel technology to its HP NetServer systems, resulting in additional scalability, high availability, improved server performance and greater mass-storage interconnectivity. By supporting Fibre Channel, HP NetServer systems will be better-suited to meet the growing needs of enterprise customers, while strengthening HP's overall Microsoft(R) Windows NT(R) network server offering.
