BANGLADESH SETS JUNE 30 DEADLINE FOR EFFLUENT PLANTS IN INDUSTRY
DHAKA - The Bangladesh government has set June 30 as the deadline for installation of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) in factories that are releasing chemical wastes that pollute the water and environment.
The decision was taken at a meeting on Sunday with State Minister for Environment and Forest Mustafizur Rahman in the chair.
