He wavered somewhat over the last few weeks, but ultimately Mike Bellotti came to a decision Thursday night that dawned on him two years ago and that he truly came to embrace in late December.
Comfortable with his legacy as Oregon's football coach, and with an eye toward the long-term health of both his program and his personal life, Bellotti on Thursday determined that 14 years coaching the Ducks was enough.
