I laughed. Another one of Matt's crazy ideas. What little I knew of Facebook was relegated to that vast incomprehensible culture of youth, along with YouTube, Twitter, energy drinks, instant messaging and skinny hanks of hair hanging in girls' faces.

I love the young people in my life but avoid most of their passions. With great courage and many blunders I have learned to use a cell phone, send text messages and order a latte. I even started a blog after my husband's nephew, Byran, kept saying, "Aunt Dorcas, you need a blog," ...
