If early next year you see New Yorkers walking a bit straighter, it won't be your imagination. And if you see members of New York's health insurance industry walking a bit hunched, you won't be imagining it, either.
As we reported recently, New York's Gov. George Pataki, after much back-and-forthing, signed a law requiring health insurance policies in the state to cover up to 15 visits to a licensed chiropractor per year.
As you can imagine, the governor's signing of this legislation, which goes into effect January 1, had chiropractors dancing for joy and health insurers decidedly less jubilant.
