The last time the Twins made wholesale changes to their uniforms, they won the World Series.

That was 1987, when they unveiled pinstripes on their home whites and road grays, with the same scripts they're wearing now, 22 seasons later.

The Twins won another World Series in those uniforms in 1991, so for some, it's hard to imagine this team wearing anything different.

But with Target Field opening next April, the Twins are considering a long overdue uniform update. They have until May 31 to submit their 2010 uniform plans to Major League Baseball, and there are plans to unveil the changes this ...
