LETTER OF THE DAY: Obama's bow an insult to those who died for our freedom

More than a million Americans have given their lives so that no U.S. citizen would ever have to bow to a king. President Obama's bow to the Saudi Arabian king last week at the G-20 summit was so profoundly disrespectful to all Americans that I can't even begin to express my outrage.

I suggest he, at the least, go on national television and beg for forgiveness from the citizens he claims to represent. I would prefer that he resign from office immediately, but I doubt he'll do that.

Personally, I would fight to the death before I bowed to anyone who claimed to be a king.
