PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 23, 1997--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE:IHC) today announced that a partnership between Interstate and S.C. Hospitality, L.L.C, has opened a Courtyard by Marriott in Orange, Connecticut. The partnership has a franchise agreement with Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), and Interstate has an approximate 54% interest in the hotel.
The Courtyard by Marriott is a three-story hotel with 121 guest rooms, 3,500 square feet of meeting space, a restaurant, exercise room and outdoor pool.
