PITTSBURGH--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 23, 1997--Interstate Hotels Company (NYSE:IHC) and Baur Properties today announced that they have formed a partnership to build a Courtyard by Marriott in Maryville Centre, an office park in St. Louis, Missouri, for approximately $10 million. Interstate Hotels, the managing general partner, will own 50% of the hotel. The hotel is near the St. Louis Marriott West, which Interstate manages and owns 50% through a joint venture with Baur Properties.
