SACRAMENTO, Cal. -- Sleep Train, a rapidly expanding, mattress chain with 20-plus stores, headquartered here, has found the ticket to successful growth.
Sleep Train's owner and president Dale Carlsen, who once aspired to be a commercial real estate broker, has combined a customer-focused philosophy with a top-notch management team, enthusiastic employees and a lot of strategic planning to pull off its first major out-of-market expansion into the Seattle market.
