NEW YORK, Sept. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Gap will make history at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) by outfitting more than 3,500 men and women who work on the trading floor in business casual clothes. For the first time in the 205-year history of the Exchange, they will have their first "casual Friday."
Gap Inc. President and CEO Millard Drexler and Gap Division President Bob Fisher will ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange to start the day's trading, as well as kick off the new Gap@Work advertising campaign.
