This is the author's fourth book in Times' "Learn Indonesian" series. The objective of this book is "to help the learners to master an essential Indonesian vocabulary quickly and easily" (p. v). The book contains about 1001 Indonesian phrases divided into 40 sets of related words. Each set comprises words of related meaning, entered as base words, followed respectively by their derivative meanings in the form of collocation; proverb; and idiomatic expressions.
