Dick Fuld, who stepped down as CEO of the bankrupt Lehman Brothers at the end of last year, has started working at Matrix Advisors, located at 780 Third Ave. in Manhattan. Fuld joined Lehman in 1969 and became its chairman and CEO in 1993. Phone calls to his office at Matrix for comment were not returned.
For some, Fuld is exhibit A in the case against "Wall Street" and its avarice, but there is no denying his many successes while at Lehman, nor the heft he will bring to the hedge fund shop he's joining.
